Hurricane Barrier Notice

The Stamford Hurricane Barrier Navigation Gate's Operators are on call to staff the Stamford Hurricane Barrier for a potential gate operation for Saturday March 12th 3:00 a.m. tide.

Looking ahead the next potential tide of concern where a Team of Operators may be staffing the Barrier would be for Tuesday's 4:40 a.m. tide due to the storm event starting Monday.

To find out specific channel closures you may contact the barrier's automated answering machine at 203.348.8955 or the barrier office at 978.318.8807.
