Hurricane Barrier Notice

The Stamford Hurricane Barrier Navigation Gate's Operators will staff the Stamford Hurricane Barrier for a potential gate operation for Tuesday March 14th 4:40 a.m. tide. The team will be on site starting late Monday evening.

To find out specific channel closures you may contact the barrier's automated answering machine at 203.348.8955 or the barrier office at 978.318.8807.
