City of Stamford will be collecting bulky waste, recycling, yard waste and electronics at 55 Rock Rimmon Road. The event runs from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The recycling event is open only for Stamford residents.   

Stamford Recycling and Sanitation Department will also host clothing drives at Scofield Recycling Events. The clothing drive will accept textiles such as people and pet clothing, accessories such as belts and scarfs, shoes, sneakers, coats, bedding and blankets, towels and bath linens, curtains, tablecloths, stuffed animals and throw rugs.

COLLECTION EVENT RULES

  • ONE DUMP LIMIT PER DAY
  • 200 LBS MAX
  • NO TRAILERS, RENTAL TRUCKS, COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, OR COMBO PLATES.
  • No A/C’s, humidifiers, tires, or propane tanks  

BULKY WASTE: MATTRESSES, FURNITURE, RUGS, DEMO DEBRIS

200 LBS MAXIMUM ALLOWED

Food debris will be accepted in compostable bags only!
