Hire a Police Officer

The Central Hiring Division handles all hiring for any overtime and special assignments within the Stamford Police Department. The Central Hiring Division also handles the scheduling, staffing, and billing when officers are hired for extra duty for such activities as street excavation, traffic control, private security etc.

The staff meets regularly with community groups that are holding large events to assist them with planning and staffing to ensure a safe event.

Anyone wishing to hire an officer can download the form from this website and bring it to the Stamford Police Department, Central Hiring Office, to schedule the officer or you can hire an officer online at the link below. First time users will need to register on this system using a valid email address. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email with your user name and password which you will then use to logon and place your order.
