How to Get a Tick Tested

Stamford residents may bring ticks to the Stamford Department of Health Laboratory to be identified and tested by the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station. Please bring ticks in a sealed plastic bag.

You will be required to fill out a form when you bring the tick in. To fill it out before you bring the tick in, check here.

The Laboratory is located on the 8th floor of the Stamford Government Center. We are open Monday to Friday, 8 am to 3 pm. For more information, please call us.

Residents who bring in ticks will have the opportunity to participate in a tick bite prevention study if they choose.
