What is Stamford Citizen Services Corps (SCSC)?

The Stamford Citizen Services Corp consists of medical and non-medical volunteers who have volunteered to respond to local emergencies and other events as needed. The Mission is to serve the people of Stamford by supporting the local emergency service and public health agencies in disaster, crisis and emergency response, and by promoting safety education, emergency and disaster preparedness. Members of the SCSC have the opportunity to become joint CERT and MRC Volunteers who are included in the City’s emergency response resources and will participate in a variety of activities including:
