Founded on April 10, 1928, Belltown Fire Department is the first line of defense for fire protection and serious medical calls in the Belltown area of Stamford. Their third firehouse, located 8 Dorlen Road, was completed in 1960. The Belltown Fire Department current line of in service apparatus are Rescue 44, Tower Ladder 45, Engine 41 and Engine 42.
