Partnership Opportunities

The City of Stamford has partnered with Congregation Agudath Sholom to launch the Stamford Kindness Project – Sparking Citywide Random Acts of Kindness. The initiative aims to inspire and unite the community through kind and selfless acts. The campaign will begin on November 3 and run until December 25, 2023. All members of the community, organizations, and local businesses are invited to participate in any capacity they are able to. This can be done by organizing acts of kindness in their homes, businesses, schools, or organizations and inspiring others to do the same. Participants can use the #StamfordKindnessProject hashtag on social media to spread the word.

How You Can Spread Kindness

The Stamford Kindness Project –Sparking Citywide Random Acts of Kindness

Who We Are: The City of Stamford is partnering with the interfaith community, nonprofits, and local businesses to unite the City by performing random acts of kindness.

Our Goal: To encourage people in Stamford to engage in kind activities and share their experiences on social media to inspire others to join in. The Stamford Kindness Project aims to spread love, positivity, and kindness in our community and beyond while serving as a beacon for our country and the world.

What is a random act of kindness? Random acts of kindness are unexpected, selfless acts given to positively affect the recipient’s mood or well-being without expectation of anything in return. They can be large or small, such as buying a coffee for the person next in line or showing extra thanks to the neighborhood crossing guard.
