The City of Stamford Transportation, Traffic & Parking Department is hosting a public information meeting to discuss several exciting roadway safety projects in the Downtown Neighborhood:

Bedford and Forest Intersection and Plaza Project
- Construction of a plaza from a parking lot and raised crosswalk crossing Forest Street.
Broad Street Roadway Safety Reconstruction
- Reconstruction of Broad Street between Atlantic Street and Greyrock Place to add bump outs, on-street parking, and protected bike lanes.
Atlantic Street Roadway Safety Reconstruction
- Reconstruction of Atlantic Street between Broad Street and Tresser Boulevard to add on-street parking, protected bike lanes, bump outs, and a raised intersection at Atlantic Street and Main Street.

These projects are part of the City’s goal to increase roadway safety and enhance multi-modal options.

The City is hosting a public meeting on Tuesday July 16th at 6:00pm via Zoom.

Attendees can learn more about the projects and speak with the project team to learn more.
