Carpinella Park is a .4 acre park located near Stamford High School. The park is dedicated to Joseph L. Carpinella, A city councilman who served from 1920 until 1934. In 2018 a bench was donated by the Strawberry Hill Neighborhood Association in honor of Karina Tinajero-Arreguin, a student who was tragically hit by a van on her way to school.
