MAYOR’S UPDATES

Weekly Local Business Spotlight: MediaCOM, Inc.

Each week I will highlight one of our incredible small businesses that received one of the 176 Stamford COVID-19 relief grants.

  • Stamford Small Business COVID-19 grant awardee, MediaCOM Inc. is a full-service video production company specializing in commercial and personal projects and has worked with many Stamford-based businesses.

Community Microgrant Recipient Highlight: The Alliance for Black Achievement (AFBA)

Each week I will highlight an invaluable local initiative that received one of the 21 Mayor’s Micro-Grants.

  • Synergy1 Holdings – Synergy1 Holdings hosted its 3rd Annual Cruising Stamford Classic Car Show, on Sunday, August 20, 2023, in the heart of downtown Stamford.  Cruising Stamford is the outgrowth of spirited collaboration and joint sponsorship between Black Road Auto Club and Synergy1 Holdings. Black Road Auto Club is one of the oldest car clubs in America, formed in 1957 by a group of teenage automobile devotees; some still active in the club today!  Synergy1 Holdings takes immense pride in organizing this annual event and partnering with the Black Road Car Club to bring joy and camaraderie to the residents of Stamford.
