OPM Overview

The OPM Department is responsible for preparation, execution and evaluation of the City's Operating Budget, Capital Budget, and Special Revenue Budget. The department provides analysis of expenditures, revenues, operating budget, capital budget, policy management, and performance measures for the City Officials and Departments.

To set the standard for leadership and expertise in local government.

Mission:

To provide accurate information regarding the budget management and forecasting while safeguarding fiscal policies.

FY 22-23 Strategic Initiatives:

Develop and ensure high quality execution and implementation of the city’s operating, capital, and special revenue fund budgets.
Provide ongoing performance management and oversight in accordance with the city fiscal policies and priorities.
Look for new initiatives on increasing revenues, and implement the new city’s financial system.
Support departments, boards, and elected officials by providing financial forecasting, and various budget reports.
Provide innovative leadership by supporting city departments regarding the budget development and execution.
Maintain and develop a model workforce committed to excellence.
