Firefighters' Pension Fund

The Firefighters Pension Board is comprised of two Trustees appointed by the Mayor, two Trustees appointed by the Firefighters Union, Local 786, and an independent member selected by the other Trustees who serves as the Chairman. The Board is the fiduciary of the City of Stamford Firefighters Pension Plan and is responsible for ensuring that funds are invested prudently and the Plan is administered in compliance with all applicable guidelines, requirements and regulations.
