Zoning Permits

You would need to complete a Zoning Permit Application (standalone) if you have confirmed that your project is not associated with a building permit.

If you have a Building Permit and want to add something that is not part of the building code such as:

  • a shed under 200 square feet
  • a fence and/or wall under 7 feet
  • excavations

you can add these items to a current Zoning Permit that is already incorporated within your Building Permit. This will ensure that all your project needs are combined under one permit.

If you have any questions, please contact the following prior to completing the permit application:

If you are constructing a new building or making alterations and additions to a building or structure, please go to the City’s Permit webpage.

ATTENTION: YOU MUST HAVE THE OFFICIAL ADDRESS TO START

If the property in question has a parcel address that is not the same as the street/unofficial address, please use this link to help identify your official address.
