MAYOR CAROLINE SIMMONS RELEASES STATEMENT ON ONGOING VIOLENCE IN HAITI 

STAMFORD, CT – Today, Mayor Caroline Simmons released the following statement regarding violence in Haiti:

“During this difficult time of violence and uncertainty, my thoughts and prayers are with the Haitian people and Stamford’s Haitian American community. We support the ongoing efforts in Haiti to restore human rights, peace, stability, and democracy. Our city is home to a vibrant and large Haitian-American community and we stand with them and are ready to provide support to Stamford’s Haitian community during this challenging time.”
