CT Child Tax Credit

Connecticut parents can now apply for the 2022 Connecticut Child Tax Rebate. Families can receive $250 per child, up to 3 children. To apply visit https://portal.ct.gov/DRS and click the "2022 CT Child Tax Rebate" icon.

Fix It Stamford Training Session

Join City of Stamford Citizen Services Representatives as they train residents on the different functions of our newly updated Fix It Stamford. Learn how to enter a city service request, navigate the public dashboard and review the different features the new Fix It dashboard offers. Training sessions will be held at the Ferguson Library on Thursday, June 9^th from 11-12pm or 4-5pm.

On Sunday, I was proud to join my colleagues at the Stamford Memorial Day Parade to honor all the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. It was a privilege to meet this year’s Grand Marshall U.S. Army Veteran Corporal James Lyles, who had a distinguished military career serving in the Korean War.

Thank you to the Patriotic and Special Events Commission for all your work to make this event possible and all you do to honor and support the Stamford veteran community.

Happy Pride Month

Happy Pride Month! This month, we honor and celebrate the generations of LGBTQ+ individuals who have fought for a more inclusive and equal society. We've made many strides toward this goal but we still have a lot of work ahead, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic has compounded many of the stressors that many LGBTQ+ youth experience.

I'm committed to continuing to do all I can to make Stamford the most welcoming, inclusive city that it can be. For all those who identify with the LGBTQ+ community, know that you are loved and your voice, experience, and story matters. It was an honor to join Stamford Pride to raise the Pride flag in front of Government Center in celebration of Pride month!

Visit to Caro Home

It was wonderful to meet Carolina Feinstein, the co-owner of Caro Home, a home products brand which she launched in 2012, last week. Caro Home is certified as a Women's Business Enterprise through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council and we are proud to have them located in Stamford.
