Scalzi Park Basketball Court Repainting

Join the City of Stamford and Full Court Peace this Sunday, July 3rd from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at Scalzi Park to repaint the basketball court. All painting skill levels are welcome! Sign up here or email Aaron Miller (amiller1@stamfordct.gov).

This week it was great to join Governor Ned Lamont, Representative Matt Blumenthal, and Stamford Health medical professionals & CEO Kathy Silard to discuss the impacts of #RoeVWade being overturned and how Connecticut will continue to provide services to patients and protections to healthcare providers through the Reproductive Freedom Defense Act.

 

Free Museum Visits for Kids

From July 1 to September 5, Connecticut children age 18 and under plus one accompanying Connecticut resident adult can visit participating museums free of charge through the Connecticut Summer at the Museum program. Before you visit, check each participant’s website for specific program details and ticket availability.

 

Greyrock Place and Forest Street Pilot Roadway Project

The Transportation, Traffic & Parking Department recently installed a pilot roadway safety project at the intersection of Greyrock Place and Forest Street. The project added stop signs on all approaches and bump outs to slow cars and shorten the pedestrian crossing distance.
