Notes from the Stamford Health Department:
- Fairfield County is currently at the highest level for COVID-19 community transmission due to increased hospitalizations, especially among older adults. All residents are encouraged to get their COVID-19 booster and consider wearing masks when in indoor public spaces. For more information, please check out the CDC website or contact the Stamford Department of Health (communityhealth@stamfordct.gov).
- The FDA has extended the expiration date for all iHealth at-home test kits. The true expiration date is now 9 months past the original date on the box. The Stamford Department of Health Flu vaccine clinic is open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm every Wednesday until April 30^th, 2023. The clinic is located at 137 Henry Street, no appointment needed.

Vaccination Sites
Saturday January 28^th, 2023:

The vaccination site at Westover School will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Child Guidance Center Vaccine Clinic (401 Shippan Ave) will be open from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Sunday January 29^th, 2023:

The vaccination site at Americares (401 Shippan Ave) will be open from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

1/30-1/31 vaccines are available at the following locations free without an appointment:

Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Beginning January 1, 2023, the state will no longer be covering the cost for uninsured patients. If you are uninsured, you can still receive a test, but you will be charged for the cost of the test.
