Post Date:02/16/2017 4:00 PM

STAMFORD, CT – Mayor David Martin, Bureau Chief for Transportation James Travers, and representatives from Urban Engineers will hold a public input meeting on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, for the traffic signal synchronization project. The meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. in the 6th floor training room at the Government Center. The Board of Representatives approved Urban Engineers’ contract at their February meeting.

As part of the data collection phase, Urban Engineers is asking for feedback from citizens about traffic problem areas they encounter every day around the City. If residents cannot make Tuesday’s meeting, they can submit input online at: http://www.stamfordct.gov/traffic-engineering/traffic-synch-project/webforms/comment-for-2212017-meeting

Urban Engineers will also be looking for volunteers to record their drives on major routes throughout Stamford. They will explain the ways for residents to get involved in this way at the meeting.

The focus of this meeting is just on areas where residents experience daily traffic congestion and issues with traffic signals.
