Your City at Work: From the Mayor’s Desk

Read below to learn more about initiatives my administration is working on, resources for Stamford residents, information about upcoming events, and important city and state information.

May is National Foster Care Month, an annual observance that highlights the needs of children and youth in the foster care system. During this month, we recognize the tireless efforts of professionals who work to find foster families and support those already in care. It’s an opportunity to start conversations about foster care and consider how we can make a difference year-round by providing safe and nurturing homes for these young individuals.
