STAMFORD, CT – Mayor David Martin released the following statement after a tie vote by the Board of Representatives on the reappointment of Ernie Orgera as Director of Operations:

“Last night’s vote resulted in a tie on the reappointment of Director of Operations Ernie Orgera. As has been noted by many community leaders, Ernie has done a great job during my first term, and I enthusiastically reappointed him. In order to continue uninterrupted service for our residents and neighborhoods, Ernie will serve as acting director for the immediate future.”
